Lava Lips

Lava Lips

About this book

Laura Baxter cannot even sneeze without starting a fire. Flaming Head offers help—but a costume and target practice cannot give her ordinary life back.

When her anger turns toward the little flame who changed her life, Dr. Daniel Orkleson makes an offer: help him test a machine that could make Flaming Head helpless. With his floating, metal-jawed creation Jaws O’ Death at his side, the scientist known as Dork puts his plan in motion high above Cleveland.

Laura thinks she knows what she wants to see happen. But when her chance comes, she must decide how far she is willing to go.
